EliData S.P.A., a software house specialized in the creation of products to support the activity on national and international financial markets, is urgently looking for C++ DEVELOPERS for internal staff expansion.

The ideal candidate is a person with good technical knowledge in C++ programming who has gained solid experience on Unix systems (such as Solaris and Linux).

His/Her activities will concern:

• The analysis and implementation of existing software applications.
• The planning, development, and verification testing phase of the required products.
• Research and evaluation of the introduction of new technological solutions.
• Identification and correction of system bugs.
• Collaboration with other programmers to define product strategies.
• Reading and writing technical documentation.

The following are required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or similar.
• At least five years’ previous experience in the development of programming languages.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL database.
• Proficiency in English.
• Excellent organizational skills, orientation to analysis and collaboration in teams.
• Propensity for analysis, problem solving, innovation.
• Management of direct relationships with project clients.

The following will also be considered as preferential requirements:

• Knowledge of the Java language and programming interfaces between the 2 languages Java and C++ (JNI).
• Knowledge, even if basic, of Relational DB and NoSql (BerkeleyDB for example).
• Previous experience in the construction of “automatic” test systems.
• Previous experience of Refactoring on source code bases of significant size.

His/Her activities will concern:

• Development and maintenance of pure Java trading applications.
• The development and maintenance of J2EE application.
• Testing and functional verification of new products before and after delivery.
• Support to the application delivery team during the UAT phases.
• The production of technical documentation of the developed products.

The following are required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or management.
• At least five years’ previous experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with Unix environments.
• Good resistance to stress.
• Ability to work towards objectives.
• Availability for short trips (Italy or abroad).
• Excellent team working and integration skills.
• Knowledge of Angular.js is appreciated

We are evaluating figures with different seniority to be included in a training and growth path within the company.
The resource will become part of the technical support team and will play a key role for customers. He/She will work in contact with his/her manager for continuous support and with the entire IT department.
Responsibilities:

• The management of activities with customers, from the collection of requirements to the implementation and release.
• Technical/functional verification of reports and continuous technical support in case of malfunctions.
• Testing and functional verification of new products before and after delivery.
• Support to the development team in the verification phase of releases and changes made to the programs.
• The management of all project and product documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electronics, mathematics, telecommunications.
• Previous experience in the role of technical support to customers, specialized help desk.
• Familiarity with Unix environments.
• Working Knowledge/experience on Oracle SQL Databases and PL/SQL languages.
• Good resistance to stress.
• Ability to work towards objectives.
• Knowledge of technical English for reading codes and writing emails.
• Availability for short trips (Italy or abroad).
